I started Pterodactyl Pictures to make the films I wanted to watch. Maybe they’re the kind you want to watch too. We’re an independent production company focused on low-budget genre cinema. Based in Almaty, Kazakhstan, we combine strong local craft with lower costs to make films that look bigger than their budgets. That freedom lets us tell stories that are edgier, stranger, further out. The kind of stories that love you. We’re the anti-studio. We make the films the system can't.
